Vet Support Program
At Passing Paws we understand that families have been with your practice for
many years, you have built strong relations with the family and of course their
loving pet. Recommending a crematorium for taking care of the final stages is
hugely important to you as this recommendation is an extension of your
reputation and so you must have full confidence in our procedures, our team and
our morals to know you have made the right decision.
At Passing Paws, we have an open-door policy and frequently arrange private
tours of our facility. This is to give transparency and understanding to
Veterinarians about of our procedures, our standards, and our Private Cremation
Guarantee program.
Supporting your business
As Vets we are predominantly empaths, we focus all our energy into saving pets and we are often filled with sadness and guilt if we feel we cannot save a struggling pet in their time of need.
With the Veterinary industry having the highest levels of suicide and not much awareness of this, Passing Paws has teamed up with Donna Stambulich from North Perth Psychology to develop a tailored curriculum to deliver to vet staff.
The purpose of these short courses is to educate vet staff on the signs of compassion fatigue and to aid each staff member with the tools and skills to effectively overcome this.
