Meet our Team

Led by Owner and CEO Lee, our team members are carefully selected for their care, compassion and unique pet care skills. Being pet owners ourselves, we understand the pain and heartache that accompanies the loss of a beloved companion. Lee’s extensive experience in the industry coupled with his genuine empathy for people and animals ensures that we will never lose sight of our purpose – to deliver support beyond the service.

We pride ourselves for the level of care that we give to every pet. Whether it be a cuddle, a pat or a scratch under the chin, we understand that each pet is a beloved individual who is cherished dearly by their family. It is with this in mind that ensures we deliver on your expectations as a family.

As a recent high school graduate, I was unsure of which path to take in my career. I knew I wanted a job where I could show compassion and empathy through my work. I discovered Passing Paws, and since working here, everyone has been so welcoming. I enjoy using my compassion to create perfect paw prints so the pets family have something special to remember them by.

I am passionate about providing the best care possible to your pets and giving them the utmost respect whilst in our care. I have more than 5 years experience working in the animal industry and after learning about the respect, care and love given to all animals from the Passing Paws staff, I knew I had found a place and a team that would help make a difference in such a devastating time in people’s lives. I recently felt the heartache of losing a best friend, my goat Diego, and being a part of providing care and closure in these difficult times is very fulfilling.

Ashleigh Evans

Coming into this job was a big step out of my comfort zone but straight away I was made to feel like such an important part of the team. With a heart so big it could explode, this job is perfect for me. I have always grown up in a house full of animals and saying goodbye will always be the hardest part of being a pet owner. I like knowing that I’m helping make that next step just a little bit easier for all

Sarah Jarvis

Family Care Consultant

I have worked at Passing Paws for the last 18 months. Prior to this I worked in the healthcare system for 17 years. My two pups Clover and Teddy mean the absolute world to me so I can relate to the heartbreak of losing a beloved pet. It has been very rewarding helping families through such a difficult time in their lives.

Matthew Dullaghan

Vet Care Consultant

I discovered Passing Paws after losing my cherished cat, Bella. The team's care, compassion, and professionalism moved me profoundly. This experience led me to join as the Vet Care Consultant, bringing over 13 years of sales, marketing, and business development expertise. Despite being labelled the "crazy cat man," I care for a diverse range of fur babies at home, including cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, and a turtle. My mission is to ensure customers and vet clinics receive the exceptional 5-star service I personally experienced.

Janet Amy

Premium Care Consultant

I’m a passionate animal lover, i have always had pets of my own and I have also fostered many rescue animals in need. The most rewarding part of my role is speaking to the many, many beautiful families that call in and hearing about the love that they have for their own personal fur-babies and helping them create the most fitting send off for their beloved pets.

Edel Gallagher

Family Care Consultant

Since joining the Passing Paws team, I have had the honour of supporting and guiding families through a very difficult time in their lives. To me, the most rewarding and important aspect of my role, is providing the families with the reassurance and peace of mind that their beloved pets are in safe and loving hands with us.

Michael Buckingham

Family Care Consultant

I have a huge passion for helping and supporting all animals, big and small, having had various animals throughout my life. I have worked for several years within Animal Welfare where I met my adorable rescue cats Jack & Nala who mean the world to me. Part of my previous roles included rehoming pets with new families when their owners have sadly passed away. I use this and my own experience gained from these experiences, to apply a compassionate, sensitive, and professional approach in helping families throughout their own grief process.

Lucy Rust

Office Junior

Being a huge animal lover myself and owning two horses of my own, working at passing paws has been a great experience for me. Losing a pet is an extremely hard thing and something I have personal understanding of. Being able to give back to and help people who have lost their pets is something very rewarding to me, and I hope I can make even a small difference in people’s experience.

Ray Shally

On losing my pet, I was unsure on the procedures of the cremation of my beloved Staffy Rio. On contacting Passing Paws they guided me through this and provided support, comfort, and peace of mind that they would take great care of Rio. I met the owner of Passing Paws, and my personal interaction turned into an employment position as a Support Pet Care Specialist.

Steve Faulkner

Working at Passing Paws is one of the most feel-good jobs I have ever done. As a member of the transport team, I meet families daily dealing with the loss of their beloved pets. If my interaction with the families makes their day that little bit better, that makes the job for me all the more rewarding.
