Premium Cat Funeral Service  

Exclusive to Passing Paws, our Premium Funerals for cats are a way to give your feline friend a proper farewell and to show respect for the important role they played in your life. It is also a way to ensure that they are farewelled with the dignity, love and respect that you gave them during their lifetime.  

Our Premium Funeral service for cats includes: 

• A premium consultation with your family to ensure that every detail is arranged according to your wishes. This can be done either at your home or at Passing Paws. Alternatively, we can schedule an online Zoom call if you are unable to meet in person. 

• Luxury vehicle hire – From the vehicles we use to transport your pet, to the way in which we carry them, everything we do is how we would expect our own pets to be treated and handled. Our cars are fitted with soft imitation turf and velvet curtains. Every pet in our care is transported in their very own pet basket with a paw print blanket to ensure a comfortable journey back to the crematorium. 

• Facility hire for the duration of the service (4 hours), which includes the Garden of Rest and the Family Comfort Room. This offers privacy and comfort to family members who are gathering to say farewell or to wait for Same Day cremation of their pet. 

• Family Viewing – We will hold your precious pet in our care until the day of the funeral. If a viewing is requested, we will ensure that your cat is presented respectfully in a casket so that you may visit with them one last time before saying goodbye.  

As part of the funeral process the whole family is very welcome to attend, including other pets who may also be grieving. 

• An experienced Funeral Celebrant is included to help organise the flow of the day, assistance with the writing of eulogies and guidance for pallbearers.  

• An Order of Service – Choose how your cat will be honoured, who will participate and in which order. 

• A casket – Choose from our premium range of beautifully crafted caskets. Caskets are velvet lined and manufactured from the highest quality wood. 

• Music – Music is provided within our Garden of Rest. If you have any special songs that you would like to play at your cat’s service, please speak to one of our caring consultants. 

• Flowers – Options are available from our premium range of flowers. We will collect the flowers on the way to your home with your cat, giving you more time to spend with your family. 

• Catering – Passing Paws will arrange food catering for your pet’s service depending on the number of guests attending. We provide packages for 1-4 people, 5-8 people and 9-12 people. Additional guests and dietary preferences can be catered for on a bespoke basis.  

• A beautifully presented canvas photograph or animated version of your cat will be displayed during the service to help you capture the memories of a lifetime.

Standard Cat Funeral Service 

Our Standard Funeral service for cats allows you to select particular products or services from our Premium range, making this option more personalised and affordable. 

The Standard Funeral service for cats includes: 

• A standard consultation with your family to ensure that every detail is arranged according to your wishes. This is done at Passing Paws or via Zoom. 

• Facility hire for the duration of the service (2 hours), which includes the Garden of Rest and the Family Comfort Room.  

• Family Viewing – for family members and other pets. 

• A casket selected from our standard range for cats.
